Community Service is an integral aspect of our brotherhood. Each brother participates in at least two Kappa Tau philanthropy events per semester, but many of our brothers go above and beyond. These events provide a place for our chapter to bond with each other as well as give back to the community.

Each year, the chapter’s community service looks a little different. As brothers come and go, our chapter is gifted with new talents. Our Vice President of Community Service is in charge of looking at the strengths of our chapter and seeing the best ways that we can aid our community. Some of the brother’s favorite reoccurring community service events are volunteering with Rebuild Upstate, facilitating events at the Clemson Downs nursing home, and visiting the Ronald McDonald House, our national philanthropy. Each semester provides new and exciting opportunities for our chapter to become more involved with the community around us.

Brothers donated feminine sanitary products for Clemson's chapter of the Homeless Period Project then packaged individual supplies for distribution. Donations go to local women in need such as the homeless as well as middle school and college students under financial strains.

The chapter collected and donated bags of candy to be packaged with fun Halloween messages for residents of local nursing home Providence Care.

Brothers gathered for an afternoon of volleyball with the entrance fee being a non-perishable food item. Together with the Minority Students in Business Association, over 50 items were collected and donated to Clemson's Paw Pantry!
